- 1. Eligibility
- If you wish to participate in the BroSis Project, you would be…

- A youth between the ages of 18 and 24 who lives in one of Seoul’s sister cities or in a city that has signed MOU with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
- - Seoul’s Sister Cities: 22 cities
- Taipei (Chinese Taipei), Ankara (Turkey), Honolulu (USA), San Francisco (USA), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Bogota (Columbia), Jakarta (Indonesia), Tokyo (Japan), Moscow (Russia), New South Wales (Australia), Paris (France), Mexico City (Mexico), Beijing (China), Ulan Bator (Mongolia), Hanoi (Vietnam), Warsaw (Poland), Cairo (Egypt), Rome (Italy), Astana (Kazakhstan), Washington D.C. (USA), Athens (Greece), Bangkok (Thailand)
- - Seoul’s MOU Cities: 12 cities
- Ottawa (Canada), Berlin (Germany), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Budapest (Hungary), Istanbul (Turkey), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Los Angeles (USA), Milan (Italy), Minsk (Belarus), Shandong Province (China) , Jiangsu Province (China), Guangdong Province (China)
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Interested in the following subjects on the urban sustainable development:
- Environmental issues toward green growth such as developing an eco-friendly transportation system and implementing policies to cut down carbon dioxide emission
- Social issues such as local community, multicultural society, and welfare
- Economical issues such as social enterprises and economical reinforcement through culture
- Urban planning and development or reconstruction, or other sustainable development related topics
- Interested in Korean culture and willing to exchange cultures
- Korean history and culture, other Korea and Seoul related matters
- International and cultural exchanges
- Willing to complete required preparation tasks prior to the project.
- Able to communicate and work effectively in a team setting.
- Capable of actively performing all scheduled activities.
- Please note that a maximum of 4 candidates from Seoul’s Sister Cities and 2 from her MOU Cities will be selected.
- 2. Financial Aid
- The MIZY Center will cover the expenses for: a portion of your round-trip airfare (please see details below), all local expenses including meals and accommodation, transportation within the host country, admission fees for program-related events, and health and accident insurance during the project period

- Airfare Subsidy :
- 1) For participants who arrive from the Asian region: USD 200
- 2) For participants who arrive from regions other than Asia: USD 400
The MIZY Center will NOT provide : visa application fee, required travel documents, immunizations and personal spending money. .

- 4. Flight Booking and Applying for a Visa
- Flight booking: All successful participants are responsible for booking their own flights. The airport to get to the MIZY Center is the Incheon International Airport [ICN]. The MIZY Center will provide airport pick-up service free of charge.
- Applying for a visa: For successful participants, if they need a visa, the MIZY Center will send an official nominative invitation letter to support the visa application. However, this letter does not guarantee visa approval. * Countries that Require Visas: Belarus (Minsk), China (Beijing, Jinan, Nanjing, Guangzhou), Indonesia (Jakarta), Kazakhstan (Astana), Mongolia (Ulan Bator), Russia (Moscow), Uzbekistan (Tashkent), Vietnam (Hanoi)
- 5. How to apply
- If you wish to apply for the BroSis Project, you should send…
- A completed application form : Please fill out the application form provided and send the completed application form to the MIZY Center by e-mail.
The application form can be downloaded from the project’s website.
- A copy of your passport : Please scan your passport and send it along with your application form by e-mail.

- Once your application is processed, you will receive a confirmation email from the MIZY Center. If you are from a non-English speaking country, you will have a phone interview session from the BroSis Selection Committee.
Application for 2009 is closed.
Application for 2010 will be opened in April, 2010.
